The value of imperfection

The video addresses imperfection in objects design and puts them in an unconventional time frame, showing it is impossible to control the product life-cycle. The unpredictable becomes a creative variable, that makes objects getting mature, independent and alive.

The project opposes the idea of perfection, stillness and irresponsible design that lacks the vision of the future and the freedom for objects to change and grow.

Humans are constantly changing. Imperfection runs throughout our lives: it’s our greatest asset. And our products should reflect this.
Considering imperfection as a real value, our hope is to impact the way objects are designed.
